Continuing Education Hours
30 CFP CE hours are required every 2 year reporting period. 2 hours must be from a pre-approved program on CFP Board's Code of Ethics and/or Practice Standards course.
Certification Period:
The certification period ends on the last day of the renewal month every 2 years. Your expiration date is located on the CFP Board ID card.
Carryover Requirements:
Excess hours may not be carried over into the next reporting period.
Course Repetition:
Courses may be repeated as long as they are not completed within the same renewal period.
